Ten Keys to Killing a Giant: #3 - Reveal Your Intentions

“And David said to Saul, Let no man’s heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine.” I Samuel 17:32

a problems exert a tremendous controlling force upon your life. They keep you from becoming all you are capable of becoming in God’s kingdom. They keep you from experiencing the JOY God wants you to have.

This giant Goliath had been insulting the armies of Israel twice a day for forty days before little David came on the scene. Perhaps others had THOUGHT about challenging the giant, but no one SPOKE UP. . . except David.

David put his MOUTH where his FAITH was. He began to tell others, “I can do it!” He committed himself and put God to task by telling others of his intentions to fight the giant.

If you are battling a giant HABIT or DEPRESSION today, reveal your intentions to overcome it. Tell your spouse or Christian friend. Reach out for the help and accountability of the body of Christ. . . do not try to do it alone.

Romans 10:10 says: “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the MOUTH confession is made unto salvation.” (Emphasis supplied.)
