John was so impacted by the life of Christ that he could not help but write chapter after chapter about what he had experienced and learned. It was more than a religious practice to John; it was a personal revelation, and he proclaimed the Word from firsthand experience…that which he had personally:
1) Heard – with his ears.
2) Seen – with his eyes.
3) Touched – with his hands.
4) Had Manifest – in his spirit.
The Apostle Paul, after his blinding encounter with Jesus on the Damascus Road and subsequent healing, spent the rest of his earthly life declaring the Good News. (Acts 13:32; 17:23)
A personal revelation of Jesus Christ will cause YOU to minister as well. You cannot be silent. Even when there is a lack for words, your eyes will shine with the brightness of the Light inside and shed blessings upon whom they look. There is no substitute for a PERSONAL EXPERIENCE with God.
PRAY: “Father, I have heard Your call, I have seen Your handiwork, I have felt Your tender touch. Now I want to tell others about Your great love. Help me to do so. Amen.”
