Victories for Religious Freedom
· First Liberty Institute (video clip) – Recent Supreme Court decisions for Religious Freedoms.
· Roe vrs. Wade overturned after 50 years
· Coach Joe Kennedy case – freedom to pray openly.
· Miracle in Maui – Church not touched by the fire storms in Maui, Hawaii.
What is God doing?
Showing His Glory – manifest presence; signs wonders, miracles.
· Isaiah 60:1-3 “ARISE, SHINE: for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.
Increasing Kingdom Authority – as we understand our identity in Christ and power of the Holy Spirit.
· Matthew 24:14 “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
· Mark 16:17 “And these signs shall follow them that believe…”
· We ARE Revival, Christ’s Ambassadors, BE the church (don’t just GO TO church).
Calling us to deeper Holiness – to be NOT conformed with this world but follow Jesus.
· II Corinthians 6:17-18 “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.”
· John 14:15 “If you love me, keep my commandments.”
· Serving God out of LOVE and not DUTY. Sonship: Being sons & daughters, not SERVANTS.
Bringing closer Intimacy – through sensitivity to the Holy Spirit and ears to hear His voice.
· Galatians 5:25 “If we LIVE in the Spirit, let us also WALK in the Spirit.”
· Acts 17:28 (Apostle Paul in Athens on Mars Hill) “For in Him we live and move and have our being.”
Showing Divine Favor (FOG) – God’s Divine intervention in our earthly affairs.
· Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (12) Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. (13) You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. (14) I will be found by you, declares the LORD.”
