- Giant = Anything that stands in the way of GOD’S WILL for your life.
- Sickness, Lack, Doubt, Discouragement
- To possess the land, the giants must be removed!
- You will never change that which you can tolerate.

- Recognize a Cause
- I Samuel 17:29 “Is there not a cause?” – A Spiritual grounds for Action!
- Reject the Negative
- I Samuel 17:30 “He turned away to someone else…”
- II Corinthians 10:4-5 “The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”
- Reveal your Intentions
- I Samuel 17:32 “David said to Saul, Let no one lose heart on account of this Philistine; your servant will go and fight him.”
- Don’t just THINK it… SPEAK it! – Commit yourself, tell someone.
- Declaration activates Faith
- Review the Victories of the Past
- I Samuel 17:36 “Your servant has killed both the lion and the bear; this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, because he has defied the armies of the living God.”
- Revelation 12:11 “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”
- Reach for your own Armor
- I Samuel 17:39 “And David said unto Saul, I cannot go with these; for I have not proved them. And David put them off him.”
- You “prove” something by experience
- Romans 12:2 “Be not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
- Rally your Faith
- I Samuel 17:46 “This day the Lord will hand you over to me, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head. Today I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds of the air and the beast of the earth, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel.”
- Declare and Prophesy your future!
- David declared his faith in GOD, not fear of the Giant.
- Run at the Enemy
- I Samuel 17:48 “As the Philistine moved closer to attack him, David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet him.”
- Confront your fear – Advance, don’t Retreat!
- Remove the Head
- I Samuel 17:51 “David ran and stood over him. He took hold of the Philistine’s sword and drew it from the scabbard. After he killed him, he cut off his head with the sword.”
- Burn the bridges to the past – Declare victory through the Word of God (Sword of the Spirit)
- Rejoice in the Lord
- I Samuel 17:52 “Then the men of Israel and Judah surged forward with a shout and pursued the Philistines…”
- Worship & Praise comes naturally after Victory!
- Psalm 126:1 “When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion we were like them that dream. (2) Then our mouth was filled with laughter and our tongue with singing…”
- Recover the Reward
- I Samuel 17:53 “When the Israelites returned from chasing the Philistines they plundered their camp.”

Declaration of Faith
The battle is the Lord’s! My confidence is in the living God. I reject fear. I refuse intimidation.
I will not tolerate what God calls me to overcome. I remember His faithfulness. I stand in covenant.
I fight from Christ’s victory. By faith I SEE – By faith I SPEAK – By faith I ACT.
The giant will fall. God will be glorified. And I will walk in His purpose. In Jesus’ name — Amen!
