Declare His Glory – What does it mean?

  • Psalm 96:3 “Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous deeds among all peoples.”
    • Declare: To proclaim, testify, to tell the story, thru words & deeds.
    • His Glory: The visible presence & power of God at work on the earth today.
    • II Corinthians 5:20 “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors. God is making his appeal through us.”
  • Psalm 19:1 “The heavens declare the glory of God.”
    • Romans 8:19 “The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed.”
  • Isaiah 60:1 “ARISE, SHINE, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. (2) See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord shall arise upon you, and His Glory shall be seen upon you. (3) Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.”

  • Declare the Glory of Yahweh – God’s Name: “I am that I am”
    • Meaning: God always exists, He’s self-sufficient, owes nothing to anyone.
    • Jesus: I am the Bread of Life, I am the Light of the World, I am the Good Shepherd
  • Exit Babylon – turn your back on the world and it’s culture
  • I have decided, I will follow Jesus, I’m never going back!

Morning Meditations – An hour of quiet individual prayer with instrumental background

    • Jesus: “Can you watch and pray with me for one hour?”
    • Psalm 46:10 “Be still and know that I am God.”
    • Isaiah 40:31 “They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.”
  • The Living Tabernacle – Encountering the Lord through the pattern of worship in the Tabernacle.

Ezekiel 37 – God’s instruction through the Valley of Dry Bones

  • Ezekiel 37:3 (NIV) “He asked me, ‘Son of man, can these bones live?’  I said, ‘O Sovereign Lord, you alone know.’ (4) Then He said to me, ‘Prophesy to these bones and say to them, Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD!
    • Speak to your Problem about God’s Promise – Declare and decree the Word of God
  • Acts 2:17 “And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: (18) And on my servants and on my handmaidens, I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy.”
  • Joshua 1:6 “Be strong and of a good courage… (8) This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
  • II Corinthians 1:20 (NIV) “For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ.         And so, through Him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.”
