As in the Days of Noah

·      Matthew 24:37 “As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man."

·      Genesis 6:5 “And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.”

·      Genesis 6:8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.  (9) This is the account of Noah.  Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked with God.”

·      Genesis 6:22 “Noah did everything just as God commanded him.”

·      Hebrews 11:7 “By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family.  By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.”

·      Exodus 3:5 “Don’t come any closer, God said.  Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.”


The Fear of the Lord

·      Proverbs 8:13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech, do I hate.”

·      The Fear of Man: Heavy concern about other people

·      The Fear of God: Heavy concern about God

·      John 12:43 (Re: the Pharisees) "For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God."


Build your Spiritual Ark

·      Ephesians 2:10 “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

·      The Bible is our blueprint - Instruction Manual

·      The Holy Spirit is our compass - Our conscience

·      Galatians 6:7 “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”


Peter's Miraculous Prison Deliverance

·      Acts 12:7 “Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared, and a light shone in the cell.  He struck Peter on the side and woke him upQuick, get up! he said, and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists.”

The Eyes of the Lord – The Promises of God

·      II Chronicles 16:9 “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him.”

·      Psalm 33:18 “For the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love.”

Dwelling in the Secret Place – The Promises of God

·      Psalm 91:1 “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”

·      Psalm 91:9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; (10) There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plaque come nigh thy dwelling.  (11) For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.”

·      II Corinthians 7:1 “Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.”
