- Hebrews 13:16 AMPC Do not forget or neglect to do kindness and good, to be generous and distribute and contribute to the needy [of the church as embodiment and proof of fellowship], for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.
- Matthew 25:35-40 The passage includes acts of compassion, such as providing water, shelter, clothing, and visiting the sick and imprisoned.
- Luke 15:28 The Prodigal Son & the Elder Brother The son said, ‘Look how many years I’ve stayed here serving you, never giving you one moment of grief, but have you ever thrown a party for me and my friends? Then this son of yours, who has thrown away your money and shows up, and you go all out with a feast!’
- 1 Samuel 25:11 NKJV The story of Nabal & David Shall I then take my bread and my water and my meat that I have killed for my shearers, and give it to men when I do not know where they are from?”
- King David gathered 400 men, and he’s on his way to destroy Nabal and everything he owns. But his wife, Abigail, met David and interceded with provisions, while Nabal was at home partying and unaware that the King was on his way.
- 2 Corinthians 5:18 Msg.Bible “The Ministry of Reconciliation” The old life is gone; a new life emerges! Look at it! All this comes from the God who established the relationship between us and Him and then called us to establish our relationships with one another. God put the world square with himself through the Messiah, giving the world a fresh start by offering forgiveness of sins. God has given us the task of telling everyone what He is doing. We’re Christ’s representatives. God uses us to persuade men and women to drop their differences and enter into God’s work of making things right between them.
- Micah 6:7-8 NLT (A courtroom scene and God addresses His complaints against Israel’s Unfaithfulness) Should we offer him thousands of rams and ten thousand rivers of olive oil? Should we sacrifice our firstborn children to pay for our sins? 8 No, O people, the Lord has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
- DO JUSTLY, LOVE MERCY, WALK HUMBLY WITH YOUR GOD!
