ENTERING A SWITCHING SEASON

ENTERING A SWITCHING SEASON

Isaiah 43:19 (NLT)

“For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.”

SWITCH:

·      to change direction or course; turn or change.

·      to exchange or replace something with another

1. RECOGNIZE THE SHIFT

Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NLT)

“For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.”

  SHIFT:

To shift involves a gradual or partial change. It suggests moving or adjusting direction, focus, or position without necessarily replacing something entirely.

2. RELEASE WHAT GOD IS TELLING YOU TO LEAVE

Genesis 12:1 (NLT)

“The Lord had said to Abram, ‘Leave your native country, your relatives, and your father’s family, and go to the land that I will show you.’”

3. RESPOND QUICKLY WHEN GOD SPEAKS

Isaiah 30:21 (NLT)

“Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say, ‘This is the way you should go,’ whether to the right or to the left.”

HAVE FAITH….

Hebrews 11:1 (AMP): "Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses]."

2 Corinthians 5:7Amplified Bible

7 For we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises]—

4. TRUST GOD WHEN THE SWITCH DOESN’T MAKE SENSE

Proverbs 3:5–6 (NLT)

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”

Conclusion

RELEASE what God tells you to leave
RESPOND quickly when God speaks.
TRUST Him when it doesn’t make sense.
