David Sutton has dedicated his life and ministry to helping those caught in addiction to alcohol and drugs find freedom, as he did 46 years ago. He has traveled internationally bringing the message of the gospel to the broken and the afflicted. Ministry assignments have included training addictions counselors, teaching those preparing for ministry, and as been a mentor to many throughout his career.
He holds a PhD in Psychology and a Doctorate in Divinity; he has served as a pastor, worship leader, teacher, and is ordained as a Bishop. He is currently the National Speaker / Coach for The Recovery Church Movement, and the Campus Pastor for The Recovery Church at Gracelife Church, in Sarasota Florida. He is a member of the Board of Regents, for Covenant University.
David has published many books in multiple languages on overcoming addiction and developing prayer. The book "The Optional Element", Developing a Successful Prayer Life, was formulated from his own personal prayer life. David spends many hours everyday in prayer and has taught others how to expand their effectiveness of their own personal prayer and the prayer life of their church.

"I don't have a ministry that I pray for, I have a prayer life and out of the overflow of my prayer life, is my ministry."
David lives in Sarasota Florida, with his wife Lori, together they have 5 children and 7 grandchildren
