Blueprint: God’s Design for a Winning Life – Define The Win
- The Bible is like a Blueprint; it ensures communication among believers who are building a foundation of faith to stand on and weather every type of life's storms.
- 2 Timothy 3:16 (All Scriptures are Profitable) 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
- Profitable for doctrine: beneficial, conferring advantages. Psalm 68:19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.
- 2. Correction: Improvements. Not punishment or guilt-trip us. 3. Instruction in righteousness: Impartation of Knowledge.
- 2 Corinthians 1 (Paul’s Letter to the Church in Corinth addresses various issues & crises in the community). 20 For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. NKJV 20 For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for his glory. NLT
- Resounding: Deep, Rich & Resonant sound. (Greek): ECHO
- DEFINE THE WIN!: The Win is When we believe His “YES!”
- Psalm 103 NKJV [David has a conversation with his soul about God’s “YES” answers] Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: 3 Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, 4 Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, 5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
- Psalm 103:7 NKJV [David abruptly changes the subject to talk about the Children of Israel]
- He revealed his character to Moses and his deeds to the people of Israel. NLT
- He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel. NKJV
- He made known His ways [of righteousness and justice] to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel. AMPC
- Hebrews 3:7 AMPC [He made known His ways, but His children hardened their Hearts] 7 Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: Today, if you will hear His voice, 8 Do not harden your hearts, as [happened] in the rebellion [of Israel] and their provocation and embitterment [of Me] in the day of testing in the wilderness, 9 Where your fathers tried [My patience] and tested [My forbearance] and found I stood their test, and they saw My works for forty years.
- 10 And so I was provoked (displeased and sorely grieved) with that generation, and said, They always err and are led astray in their hearts, and they have not perceived or recognized My ways and become progressively better and more experimentally and intimately acquainted with them.
- 1. “God will not bless our ways; He only blesses His way! Haggai AMPC [Caught up with Taking Care of Their Own Affairs, and not God’s; and things are not working out] 5 Now therefore, thus says the Lord of hosts: “Consider your ways! 6 “You have sown much, and bring in little; You eat, but do not have enough; You drink, but you are not filled with drink; You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm. And he who earns wages, earns wages to put into a bag with holes.”
- Genesis 16 AMPC [Abraham & Sarah took Matters into their own hands] 2 So Sarai said to Abram, “See now, the Lord has restrained me from bearing children. Please, go in to my maid; perhaps I shall obtain children by her.” And Abram heeded the voice of Sarai… still conflict today. Israel / Arab Nations
- Romans 11:25 AMPC Gentiles: Non-Jewish People - Does that include me & you, and the Arab Nations, too?
- 25 Lest you be self-opinionated (wise in your own conceits), I do not want you to miss this hidden truth and mystery, brethren: a hardening (insensibility) has [temporarily] befallen a part of Israel [to last] until the full number of the ingathering of the Gentiles has come in, [Me & you and the Arab Nations too] 26 And so all Israel will be saved. As it is written, the Deliverer will come from Zion; He will banish ungodliness from Jacob.
- Do you believe His “YES!” for the Gentiles, the Arab Nations?
- Will you include the Arab Nations in your prayers going forward? It is written that Jesus will not return until the full number of the ingathering of the Gentiles has come in.
- 2.“Faith is waiting for God’s timing, not ours; don’t put a time restraint on God.” “Lord, I’m believing and commanding this to happen by the end of the month, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!”
- Did the Lord tell you by the end of the month, or did you tell the Lord?
- 3.“Faith makes no assumptions; we must find and follow the Will of God!”
- 2 Samuel 2 (David makes no assumptions; He sought guidance from the Lord). 1 After this, David asked the Lord, “Should I move back to one of the towns of Judah?” “Yes,” the Lord replied. 4 And the men of Judah came and there they anointed David king over the house of Judah.
- David being faithful in the small things – Earned him a promotion.
- 2 Samuel 5:17 (David makes no assumptions; He sought guidance from the Lord). 17 Now when the Philistines heard that they had anointed David king over Israel, all the Philistines went up to search for David…19 So David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will You deliver them into my hand?” And the Lord said to David, “Go up, for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines into your hand.
- 2 Samuel 5:23 (The Philistines came out to battle again). Therefore, David inquired of the Lord, “shall I circle them as I did before; the Lord said you shall not circle around behind as you did before.
- 2 Samuel 5:24 (God’s New Plan for David) 24 And it shall be, when you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the mulberry trees, then you shall advance quickly. For then the Lord will go out before you to strike the camp of the Philistines.”
- Matthew 13:44 NLT “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure that a man discovered hidden in a field. In his excitement, he hid it again and sold everything he owned to get enough money to buy the field.
